How It Works
Diagnostic Trouble Codes, or DTCs, are not easy for commercial trucks. The vast majority of scan tools in the marketplace will simply give you the “raw” data such as MID, PID, SPN, and FMI. In most cases, these codes don’t mean much and you need to cross them to the actual OEM Flash Codes. The second issue is that the repair information can be very difficult and time consuming to find. There are over 44,000 known diagnostic codes for commercial trucks.
TruckFaultCodes.com takes care of both of these issues. Our system not only allows you to search by the MID, PID, SPN, and FMI, but the OEM flash codes as well. Our database of codes is the largest in the industry, and is continually being added to. We include not only the “quick and dirty” repair information, but have a large library of included step-by-step repair information and wiring diagrams as well.
Searching and Cross Reference
In every possible case, our database includes the relevant SPN, FMI, SID, PSID, PPID, FMI, and more. All of these are cross referenced to the actual OEM Flash Code, which is what most commercial truck repair manuals are using. You can search by any and all of these fields, including description.
